6/25/24 - As a result of a number of requests and a desire to help support the investments made by serious model collectors in Fine Art Models models, I have decided to post more documentation and pricing support for FAM owners. I will also be initiating a listing service for the sale of all things Fine Art Models: trains, ships, airplanes and automobiles.

Having been involved in the development of the models from the very beginning of FAM through approximately the first ten years, I am well acquainted with the models and have provided support for many owners over the years when no one else could. Since my brother Gary's death, FAM owners have been left to ill-informed auction houses and Online sales sites such as ebay to resell their models. I have seen countless beautiful models literally given away for a fraction of their real value for a lack of background support to help with proper pricing. It has become increasing more difficult to even determine the original selling price for most of the FAM models to use as a pricing reference point, I hope to rectify this situation. Point of fact, many FAM collectors are also supporters of Kohs & Company, so often, in helping a FAM client I am helping one of my own.

2/21/19 - I will be listing a number of new and very desirable items in the coming days, there are several very collectible marine art prints, aviation art prints, original Ford and Shelby American racing posters from the 60's and 70's and additional very unique Fine Art Models military models, check back often for the new listings.

1/23/19 - Beginning now until 2/23/19 I am offering a 25% discount on all books listed for sale on the Collectible web pages. If interested in purchasing a book or books, please email me at info@kohs.com so I can calculate the shipping costs and we can arrange for payment.

10/31/14 - There will be new additions to our collectibles site in the coming days, some very exciting and difficult to locate items. First, a substantial collection of Smith & Wesson 'Paper' will be listed, items consisting of pre-war and early post-war catalogs, brochures, instructions, boxes, box contents and tools. If you're interested in Smith & Wesson firearms, you'll want to take a look at the items that will be listed. Secondly, a collection of custom tied Atlantic Salmon flies built with the authentic materials specified in the original 'recipes' are currently being cataloged and photographed for listing in the very near future.

8/08/14 - This is a new page that has just been added to the Collectibles Site, it's purpose will be to not only preview new listings that are forthcoming, but to also highlight items that I may be looking to acquire. I anticipate sharing with site visitors some of the interesting items that I encounter along the way and the work of uniquely talented individuals even if not everything is for sale.
