An underside view of the 'A' end of the car shows the complete brake detailing. Even the prototypical safety rigging under the brake rigging is included, this keeps the car from dropping braking bars which could derail the car should they malfunction. The brake systems on each truck are totally independent from one another, with each having its own actuation cylinders.
