Chesapeake & Ohio Steel Caboose Project Information

Our C&O steel caboose will be the perfect companion model for the C&O power that we have already produced and will produce in the future. The prototype construction groups for this project are the 90200 and 90300 series. These cabooses was built by American Car & Foundry and delivered in 1949. There were 100 units built for the C&O in the 90200 series and 50 units for PM District in the 90300 series, we are offering both of these basic versions. In addition, we will offer variations both equipped with radios and without. In addition, there will be multiple paint schemes as part of our offering including the post 1956 era yellow and the later 'Chessie System' paint scheme if there is sufficient demand.
